DESCRIPTION:Women’s participation in the tech sector will provide a boost to the economy and allow for full participation in society. The European Commission strives to encourage and empower women to play a more active role in the digital age through many actions and initiatives. \nDigital4Her is a full day event\, seeking to generate thought-provoking talks on the various roles assumed by women and girls in the digital field. Representatives of the public\, private and non-profit sectors\, hailing from numerous different EU countries\, will come together to engage in dialogues on the promotion of digital skills and STEM studies among girls\, the fostering of women-driven entrepreneurship\, as well as the ways of combating gender stereotypes in the media. \nThe actions will focus on three main areas: \n\nchallenging stereotypes;\npromoting digital skills and education;\nadvocating for more women entrepreneurs.\n\nDigital4Her is going to take place in Brussels.
